Terms of Use
These terms govern use of The Shipping Savers website, calculator and submission forms. They are a practical launch draft and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before the website accepts paid accounts or binding shipping transactions.
1. Informational website
The website provides information about shipping-rate comparison, parcel services, air and ground shipping, international shipping and LTL freight. Website content does not create a carrier, reseller, broker, agency, fiduciary or other relationship unless a separate written agreement says so.
2. $1 monthly access
The website advertises software and eligible negotiated-rate access for $1 per month. That fee does not include labels, transportation charges, insurance, duties, taxes, carrier accessorials or other shipment costs. Account approval, eligibility, billing terms, renewal and cancellation rights should be stated in the final written membership agreement before payment is accepted.
3. Quotes and calculator results
Online results are estimates unless expressly confirmed in writing. Rates, transit times and availability can depend on carrier accounts, eligibility, complete addresses, package measurements, declared value, shipment date, service rules, accessorials, fuel, taxes, duties and other factors. Carrier reweighs or remeasurements may change charges.
4. Savings and comparison claims
“The 40% Savings Challenge,” the illustrative $15-versus-$35 example, the company-reported 45% average savings figure and any other comparison must be interpreted with the accompanying qualifications. They do not guarantee a particular rate or savings result. A comparison is meaningful only when the package, lane, service, delivery expectation, fees and time period are defined.
5. Competitor and carrier references
Pirate Ship, ShipStation, Shippo, Easyship, Unishippers, UPS, FedEx, DHL and other third-party names are used for identification and comparison. The Shipping Savers does not promise to beat every third-party rate on every shipment, and reference to a third party does not imply affiliation or endorsement.
6. Customer names and marks
Customer names or marks may be displayed when the business owner represents that permission has been obtained. Display of a name or mark is not a quotation, written testimonial, guarantee of results or statement that the customer achieved a particular savings percentage unless a separate, approved case study says so.
7. Uploaded information
You represent that you have authority to submit every file and item of information you provide. You agree not to upload malicious code, unlawful material, passwords, banking data, Social Security numbers, payment-card data or information unrelated to a legitimate business inquiry.
8. Acceptable use
You may not disrupt the website, bypass security, scrape at unreasonable volume, reverse engineer protected systems, submit fraudulent information or use the site in violation of law.
9. Intellectual property
The Shipping Savers name, logo, website design and original content are owned by or licensed to The Shipping Savers. Carrier, platform and customer names, logos and marks belong to their respective owners.
10. Third-party services
The site may interact with third-party rate providers, carriers, payment processors or other services. The Shipping Savers is not responsible for third-party systems, content, outages, terms or privacy practices.
11. Disclaimer and limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The Shipping Savers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from website use, reliance on an estimate, loss of data or interruption of service. Final commercial limitations should be stated in the applicable written agreement.
